Reno Retreat Piece is almost done!

Well the creative bug is back. The form is complete now to add paint and embellishments. After I am through she will be shipped to Sherry for her wardrobe. I had a dickens of a time trying to get into this one with the Holidays and Life getting in my way. I named it "Hells Gate" which I am sure Junior would like. Now we will call it "Heaven's Gate"
Off to add my favorite part..............embellishments!

Holiday Fiber Optic Frozen Bottle Caddy

Happy Holidays !
We are going to my SIL's for Christmas Day dinner. I always like to take something handmade and a bit off the wall. Soooo I made this frozen wine caddy with fiber optics. It looks so pretty in a dimly lit room. Hope she likes it!
See how it is done.
Happy Holidays & Happy New Year!

What I did in Vegas

The Vegas gathering of artists was memorable!
We had a blast creating mixed media pieces. We laughed, shared, argued, ate and laughed some more and of course ate some more.
This is my so called "mixed media I hate Barbie" piece lol OR Barbie Reborn.

What is it?

I had the pleasure of creating a new piece that would please each artist attending my class. I played with their request in my mind for some time. The club wanted a tree but settled on a chair for the 3 day class. welllllllll I had to do both lol She has slender legs, abstract torso and limbs. The seat of the chair isssssssssssss ???? hint* I love water features lol the photo is not that great. It was 100 + degrees outside and I forgot my shoes lol :0

"Becca" is done :)

Sherry Goshon did a beautiful job creating Becca using the face I sent her. Sherry will offer the pattern to create the body and costuming. The face mold will be available soon too.
I think she needs an ice sculpture to sit on :)

I am so excited!

Sherry Goshon and I are at it again. We have collaborated on many pieces together. Sherry or I start the project and the other one finishes it. Wellllllllllllllll this time we did something a little bit different. I sculpted a 3" head and Sherry applied her magic by using a cloth over and painting skills. I am in LOVE with this new face. It amazes me how two artists can make on piece work so well. Hope you like her. She will be a new line by the two of us. Complete with face mold and body by Sherry. Her name is Rebbecca or "Becca" named after student of mine.
Doesn't she look like my grandbrat?
